Paciugo ranked in the "Fast 55" Franchise Companies

In order to qualify for the Fast 55, a ranking of the fastest growing, young franchises; a franchise company must meet the following criteria:

1) They must be a brand that has been franchising for five years or less.

2) They must exhibit positive franchise unity growth for each year during this period.

Mastro Gelataio Cristiana Ginatta has been accepted this month as a new member of the Dallas Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier, a worldwide society of professional women with high achievement in the fields of food, beverage, and hospitality.

"Since I moved to Dallas I have admired what Les Dames d'Escoffier has accomplished in achieving the highest results in the culinary arts and in helping new generations of talents to grow and develop," she said. "I am honored to become a part of this organization and I hope to contribute my passion and knowledge to support these efforts."

Dedicated to promoting the achievements of women in the culinary profession and to fostering excellence through educational and charitable activities, the organization chooses its members based on their distinguished services in the food industry and commitment to women's advancement in the profession of food, wine, and hospitality.

Growing up from a family rich in food background, Cristiana's dedication to food started when she was barely old enough to walk.

"My great grandparents on my Mom's side had an Osteria, the equivalent of a modern bed and breakfast, in a small rural town south of Milan, and my grandparents on my Dad's side had a bar, which was more or less like a modern café," she said. "I think I received from my family the passion for cooking, delicious food, and teaching other people to discover the pleasure of eating a good meal at the table and the appreciation for creativity expressed in cooking.

Many kitchens later, she and her husband, Ugo, founded Paciugo in Dallas, Texas and introduced the Italian artisan gelato culture committed to using only the best, all-natural ingredients and traditional techniques that guarantee fresh gelato everyday.

Through the passion for natural and handcrafted foods, Paciugo has also supported many non-profit groups and worked with other food organizations to promote natural and healthy food in the local community.
